FAQs

Do plaque prices change with large quantity orders?

Our plaque prices are developed based on a quantity purchase, therefore we are always giving you our best price. Your real savings on shipping/freight costs will happen if you purchase by the pallet. Please contact us for more information.

How soon can I expect my plaque once my order has been placed?

All orders are processed and shipped from our plant in New Hampshire. Depending on your location and order size, regular UPS ground shipping time is from one to five business days. For specific information on your order please call us.

How can I get my order sooner?

You may select various modes of shipping, such as UPS next day, 2-day, or USPS Express or Priority. For bulk and commercial orders, please contact us to enquire about rush or split shipping.

Is my shipment insured?

Depedning on the shipment method selected, the carrier may insure each box in a shipment, usually to a limit of $50 or $100. Please check with your specific shipping choice for details. Additional insurance may be purchased from the carrier for an additional fee; please contact us for details.

Are the personalized plates engraved?

No, Jordak uses an advanced process called sublimation to imprint your information onto the plate using a special ink. The sublimated images offer a wider variety of styles and can last for years.

Do I have to use the wording shown on your plate templates?

No. Metal plates and cards are available with up to four personalized entry choices. These custom plates will be priced based upon the number of entries desired and whether a custom plate layout is used. Stock data plates (both metal and plastic) are available for a lesser price. Please contact us for details on any customization.

What finishes are available for the wooden plaques?

All standard plaques are available in our two most popular finishes, Carbon-Fiber and San Marcos Walnut. Other plaque finishes are available for custom orders.

Has Jordak recently changed?

In 2020 Jordak transitioned to new ownership, and fabrication has moved to our flagship workshop in Canaan, New Hampshire. Thanks to transition consulting from Mark Jordan himself, we’re able to guarantee the same great products, high quality, and focus on customer service you’ve come to expect for generations.

How does Jordak ensure its customers high quality and great service?

Our goal is to provide the best quality plaques at the best possible prices. This is made possible by manufacturing the complete plaque and all its components in our New Hampshire facility, allowing our craftsfolk to maintain their high standards for every piece. The same people who speak to customers and arrange orders are involved in the design, fabrication, and shipment of every product so that the customer’s needs are always represented.
